NATURAL WAYS TO ENCOURAGE HAIR GROWTH

Our hair is very important when it comes to our looks. That’s why we should keep our hair healthy and beautiful. One way to determine if you have healthy hair is hair growth.
Normally, our hair grows about half an inch a month. Now depending on some factors you hair can grow slower or even faster. Below are some tips that can help encourage hair growth.
Exercise
The best way to keep your heart pumping and your muscles moving is daily exercise. Now, what can exercise do with hair? Well, exercise isn’t just for your heart and muscles, it’s good for everything in your body, including your hair. A good work out increase blood circulation, oxygenation, and nutrient transfer all over the body; hence, good cellular growth for fast healthy hair.
Good Diet
After all that exercise, your body will need nourishment for healthy hair growth. Our hair is mostly made of a protein called keratin, the same protein found on our skin and nails. Our hair needs protein for it to grow fast and healthy. So it is important to get the right amounts of protein daily. Good sources of protein are: lean meat from pork, beef and chicken, milk, cheese, soya beans and lentils. If you’re on a low-protein diet, you should shift to a different diet plan that does not restrict protein consumption.
Hygiene
For our hair to grow healthy, we need to keep our hair and scalp clean. Our skin contains glands that secrete a special oil called sebum, which acts as a natural hair and skin conditioner. This oil is actually very good in maintaining the health of skin and hair, but too much oil isn’t good, especially for hair. If not controlled or washed off regularly, hair gets oily and greasy. This makes hair like a dust and dirt magnet, when oil and dust mix together this could harden and could obstruct the pores, slowing down or even stopping hair growth. So, it is essential keep the hair and scalp clean.
