Pubic Hair Shaver - How to Spot an Imitation!

Japanese Made Intimate Area Shaver - How to Spot a Poor Imitation?

A lot of people ask us about the Intimate Area Shaver and the numerous products on the market that look almost identical or are touted as the "next generation shaver".

The Intimate Area Shaver is the ORIGINAL and the BEST. The only retailers trying to sell alternatives are the ones that cannot source Japanese made Intimate Area Shavers or are trying to sell cheap Chinese copies at extortionate prices!

When we first entered the market, we sold Chinese made shavers and they sold very well, but as time went on we found that more and more units were being returned to us with complaints of poor shaving performance. From this experience, we deduced that the quality of these Chinese made shavers were significantly lower than their Japanese counterparts!

Many of the returned shavers were accompanied by a note stating that "they shaved well the first few times and then started pulling at the hair, sometimes causing bleeding!" As a result we ceased selling them completely.

A number of ill-fated Chinese made shavers have made it onto the market. They aren't very good units, at least when compared to the Intimate Area Shaver. They suffer from poor quality control and poor operational performance. To our amazement, some of these shavers are now being hailed as an "improved next generation shaver". This is inaccurate and is backed up by the large number of returns we received!

If the Intimate Area Shaver is ever improved then it will be improved by the manufacturer themselves or another high quality shaver manufacturer.

We knew that if we could get hold of genuine Intimate Area Shaver's they would sell like hot cakes in a market filled with poor Chinese imitations... So we spent many months searching for the REAL THING and finally found genuine Japanese made Intimate Area Shavers.

The good news is that after selling thousands of the new Intimate Area Shaver stock, we have received nothing but fantastic feedback. These shavers work superbly, and more importantly "as advertised".

There are very few companies offering genuine Intimate Area Shaver's and scores of others offering numerous imitation shavers. Furthermore, many do not bother including English instructions! You just receive the shaver in its original box with Japanese markings and Japanese instructions. We include English or German (depending on customer origin) instructions with each shaver.

Be very careful when visiting web sites offering "Cleancut style" shavers. They can be very deceptive and go to great lengths to link their shavers to the original Intimate Area Shaver shaver. Don't believe the hype, insist on a Japanese made Intimate Area Shaver.

How Can You Tell a Genuine Intimate Area Shaver from a Poor Quality Imitation?

  1. Intimate Area Shaver's have CE and other safety markings on the base of the shaver.
  2. 2. Where is it made (China)? Original Intimate Area Shavers are only made in Japan! If its made in China be very careful indeed. We wouldn't use any shaver of questionable quality on our private parts.
  3. Is the shaver touted as the "Next Generation Shaver"? A next generation is not required, the original shaver produces fantastic results and we receive about one (1) return for every hundred sold.
  4. Do they offer the "Ladyfair" or "Feminine" trimmer? It's an imitation shaver. The Ladyfair and Feminine cost less than a Dollar from the Chinese manufacturer. They are cheap, poor quality trimmers. Genuine Intimate Area Shaver suppliers only sell the Shavy Femini trimmer.
  5. Many web sites state they have "Cleancut style" shavers. Scrutinise the descriptions and look for evidence that they are not selling genuine Intimate Area Shaver shavers. Suppliers selling genuine Intimate Area Shaver shavers will make no secret of this fact. They generally make it crystal clear that they are selling the real thing...
  6. Does the box have a home made sticker on it proclaiming "made from Japanese Components"? It's an imitation shaver. There is no way to verify this and all the boxes we have seen state the shaver was made in China. If they contain high quality Japanese components then why do the imitation products function so poorly? We have contacted manufacturers of the imitation products and they refuse to answer any questions relating to the origin of components.
