Hair loss in teenagers is a very true and real incidence. Some parents and youngsterswould not think this since this is a period of active growth. Well, it is a fact that anything about kids is growing, but there are times or conditions that c an triggerincreased hair fall in children.

Children who experience hair loss naturally feels embarrass and most likely won’t communicate with their friends or maybe go to school. In most cases kids may develop depression.
Fortunately, the majority of hair loss cases in children are short-lived. Once the cause is identified and treated, hair will eventually grow back in no time.
On the other side of the story, children’s hair loss is totally preventable. Here are a few important tips on how to prevent hair loss in children.
Proper Nutrition
A lot of kids today love to eat junk food: potato chips, candy bars, sugar rich drinks – name it, this is the stuff they like. Sadly, this isn’t enough to properly nourish a child. Undernourished children can develop a condition called telogen effluvium. This occurs when the hair follicles do not get enough nourishment, forcing the follicles to enter the telogen phase of the hair growth cycle. The telogen phase is a time when hair naturally falls out. Normally, this phase comprises about 10% of hair at any given time. Just imagine if all hair entering this phase simultaneously.
The answer to telogen effluvium is actually simple, just encourage your child to eat a well balance diet – it’s that simple, no hair loss treatment needed.
Hair Care
Some kids vigorously comb hair or fix up a thigh bun or pony tail. Forceful combing literally breaks the hair or pull the hair from the roots. A thigh pony tail or bun produce too much tension on hair that can also cause hair pulling. All of this can be avoided by careful combing and to loosen those thigh hair styles
