Having thick healthy hair is blessing for a few lucky middle aged men because it actually makes one look younger. Having hair loss on the other hand; which most men have, can really make one look really old . But hair loss problems these days shouldn’t be a problem, since one dominant product can effectively treat this age defying menace. But still, a lot of men shy away from this product because of its side effects.
Fortunately, there are other alternatives that effectively treat hair loss like the use of lasers. Laser or laser combs are fairly new in the hair loss industry, the device uses low level laser therapy or LLLT that was originally used to improve tissue repair, stop inflammation, manage chronic pain, wound healing, and improve function of damaged tissues.
Low level laser therapy has then been utilised to help improve hair texture and appearance. The procedure is expensive and is done in private hair clinics, which requires several sessions to attain positive results.
Alternatively, this new technology has been made available for home use. This minimised cost considerably, saved much time, and eliminated trips to the clinic. Now, laser therapy can be done at home at your convenience.
The laser comb works by stimulating hair growth. It is also believed that LLLT increases blood flow to the scalp to improve circulation and better nourish the hair at the roots. In addition, the increased blood flow helps carry away more waste products and may also diminish the effects of DHT on follicle miniaturization.
A study published on the International Journal of Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology in 2003 has shown that LLLT in HairMax Laser Comb is an effective treatment for stimulating hair growth and increasing the tensile strength of the hair. Hair Max laser comb worked well on both men and women who had hair loss problems.
