Hair loss is an undesirable event as we age. Hair loss is embarrassing, it lessens your self esteem, it makes you look ancient , and it sometimes make you a lesser man. For this reason men and also women go crazy trying to find a remedy for hair loss.
What causes hair loss in the first place?
There are a lot of factors that can cause hair loss. A good example is stress. Yes, over stress can cause hair loss. Another example is a physical traumatic event like child bearing ; about 50% women that have given birth will experience some kind of hair loss with one to two months after delivery. Fortunately, all these events are temporary and hair will grow back in due time.
Another cause of hair loss that is unfortunately not temporary is due to a hormone called DHT or Dihydrotestosterone. In males, hair loss due to this hormone is called “male pattern baldness”. Women are also affected by this kind of hormone, so a general term androgenic alopecia is more proper.
DHT is a powerful hormone; it is an active metabolite of testosterone. DHT is formed when testosterone reacts with the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase on your skin and HAIR FOLLICLES. Unfortunately DHT is a key hormone especially for men. In fact, DHT is what makes men, men – literally. Invivo or during fetal development the presence DHT signifies the making of male baby . Not only that this hormone triggers the development of the secondary sex traits of boys like the deepening of voice, growing of body, facial and pubic hair. And to make matters worse this hormone is also responsible for your sex drive or libido, this sole reason is what makes this hormone indispensable.
How can DHT cause hair loss?
Since DHT forms on your skin and hair follicles, the skin hardens or thickens especially on the scalp area; therefore, shrinking the blood vessels supply the hair follicles. This shrinkage decreases the amount of nutrients the hair follicle needs to maintain hair growth, making the hair grow thin and eventually leading to hair loss.
How do you treat hair loss caused by DHT?
DHT suppression is not a good idea because this will decreases your sex drive. Some medications do suppress DHTsystemically by inhibiting the formation of 5-alpha-reductase and it sure does supperss the sex drive but studies have shown that patients taking these medications suffer permanent sexual dysfunction or erection.
The best way to treat this is to suppress DHT locally with Nisim Biofactors. This special hair growth stimulant consists of a shampoo, conditioner and herbal extract. It’s safe to use since it is applied topically DHT is suppressed only at the scalp area. And since Nisim Biofactors are herbal based, it is safe to use daily.
