Fortunately, telogen effluvium is temporary. Once the stressful stimuli has passed and the body is able to recuperate, hair will eventually grow back even without any hair loss treatment.
Trichotelonemia
This is due to a mannerism or an unconscious act of twisting and pulling of hair. This is usually seen in children but can also occur in adults. This presents as areas of hair loss with obvious signs of hair breakage in various lengths.
