STOP SLOW GROWING HAIR

Are you experiencing extremely slow growing hair lately? We all go through it sometimes, but this can be prevented if we stay healthy. Consuming the right foods like fruits and green vegetables, lean meat, fish, low fat dairy products, nuts and eggs – will surely promote noticeably glowing skin and strong hair. But if you don’t eat well, like when you skip meals, extreme dieting or consuming foods that have low nutritional value will result in slow growing hair.
Another causing factor of slow hair growth is smoking. Smoking has an adverse effect on hair growth because it causes our arteries to constrict. When our arteries constrict our body will not receive optimum oxygenation needed for normal bodily functions.
Alcohol is also found to have negative effects on hair growth. Drinking alcohol in moderation is fine but too much alcohol can decrease zinc levels in our body. Zinc is an important mineral that help in cellular growth and since our hair is considered one of the fastest growing cells in the body, even the smallest depletion of zinc can affect hair growth.
Aside from eating healthy foods, not smoking and drinking alcohol in moderation. There are other thing you can do to encourage faster hair growth:
Regular exercise is good because it increases blood from all over the body, including the scalp. A scalp massage will also promote hair growth. Massaging the scalp also increases blood flow, thus improve nutrient and oxygen flow to the scalp, improving hair growth.
Keeping the hair and scalp clean is also great for hair growth. Daily washing the hair and scalp will remove all the dirt and oils that have accumulated during the day. This will prevent any microbial or fungal build up in the scalp which eventually will cause multiple hair and scalp problems. Also, you can use a specially made shampoo and conditioner that promote hair growth. There are a lot of products on the market today, but make sure that you choose the ones that contain natural ingredients.
