PRACTICAL HAIR CARE TIPS FOR HEALTHY HAIR GROWTH

We all want to look attractive, right? And one simple way to look good is to have well groomed hair. Having beautiful, healthy and luscious hair makes you feel good and proud, that’s why a lot of people do all sorts of things to their hair.

Unfortunately, there are people who just can’t get their hair to look the way they want it. There are a lot of reasons why this can occur, and it could even be your grooming technique. Luckily, there are easy solutions for this; below are some hair care tips to maintain a healthy scalp and hair growth.

No Heat Styling

Avoid using heat. Blow driers, straightening and curling irons can dehydrate the hair. Heating literally vaporizes the moisture out of the hair cortex and if done daily, hair can get really dry and brittle making it easy to break.

Easy Grooming

Gently comb hair. When we comb our hair we sometimes get our hair tangled and what we commonly but wrongly do is force the comb or brush to detangle hair. This again can damage the hair strands, some strands can actually be plucked out off the roots. What to do is simply comb your hair gently. There are also special hair detangling combs or brushes that do a good job in detangling hair.

It’s also good to regularly clean combs and brushes. Our hair is like a sponge when it comes to dust and when we comb our hair some of these dust particles accumulate between the teeth of the comb. Regular cleaning can also prevent the spread of communicable diseases like dandruff.

Eat Right

Eating a well-balance diet and regularly taking vitamin supplements is not only good for your health; it’s great for your hair as well. The cells responsible for hair production are one of the fastest growing cells in the body. These cells need a regular supply of nutrients especially protein and vitamins to produce strong, thick and healthy hair.
