HOW TO PROPERLY TREAT MALE PATTERN BALDNESS

Once a man reach the age of 30, it is normal for some to experience some type of hair loss. Most of the time, hair loss is triggered by all sorts ofconditions like stress or putting too much hair styling products for example.Luckily, these types of hair loss are just temporary and hair will ultimatelygrow back after a few months or so. But when a man is diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia or male pattern hair loss, this is a different story.
Androgenetic alopecia is a slow but progressive type of hair loss. It can be inherited from both parents and can occur at any age but usually starts the age of 30. This occurs because of a genetic sensitivity of the hair follicles to an important hormone that is naturally produced in the body called dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
It is believed that this substance causes the skin of the scalp to thicken, therefore shrinking the nutrient carrying blood vessels to thehair follicles. In return, this nutrient deprivation causes the hair follicles to slowly shrink, until the time it can no longer produce strong and healthy hair.
This is the reason why a lot of hair loss treatment products focus on increasing the blood supply leading to the scalp or stopping the production DHT itself. The only problems with these products are the side effects.
As stated earlier DHT is an important hormone, in fact, this hormone is responsible for making a fetus into a baby boy. In puberty, this hormone triggers the secondary traits of a boy – bigger deeper voice, growth of body and facial hair, increase in masculinity and many more. DHT is responsible for converting a boy into a man.
If DHT is so important, how do we stop it from causing hair loss?
The solution is simple, don’t stop the formation of DHT systemically, just do it locally on the scalp. Fortunately, there are products actually does this and they do stimulate hair growth without any side effects.
