One common problem that men will have to face when coming of age is hair loss. For centuries, men are always faced with this condition and yet hair loss still persists to this age.
Signs of hair loss start by the age 40 and typically begins with hair thinning. Then a receding hair line begins to form, which slowly goes higher and higher until the top of the head is bald, and only a rim of hair is left a long the temples and back of the head. Sometimes, hair loss is accelerated when a bald spot forms at the top of the head along with the receding hair line. In worst cases, total hair loss can occur.
There are a lot of causes of hair loss, a few examples are stress, medical induced, mannerism, but the most common cause of hair loss is male pattern hair loss or androgenetic alopecia. Male pattern hair loss occurs because our hair follicles are somehow sensitive to a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Now DHT is naturally formed in the body and is a potent androgen, many times stronger than testosterone. In fact, DHT is formed when testosterone is acted upon by an enzyme called 5 alpha reductase.
Unfortunately, men are not the only ones affected by this condition, even women experience this type of hair loss. Luckily, androgenetic alopecia in women rarely cause total hair loss and only generalized hair thinning is experienced.
But not to worry there are ways to stop the harmful effects of DHT on the scalp. Actually there are a number of solutions to treat androgenetic alopecia, but several of these products creates unwanted side effects because these products are not specifically made to treat hair loss, most of them actually are drugs made for other purposes and hair growth is just a side effect.
The safest way to treat hair loss is to choose a product that is specifically made to do so, like Nisim Biofactors. This is a tri product (shampoo, conditioner and herbal extract ) that only uses natural ingredients to stimulate hair growth and inhibit the effects of DHT on the scalp.
