There is no doubt your hair can have a major impact on the way other people perceive you. It can be manipulated to get any look you want.
Having beautiful hair is a confidence booster and is very important part of our social appearance.
Unfortunately, conditions like dry brittle hair, hair thinning, hair loss and balding can occur at any point of our life, whether it’s temporary, especially when it occurs at a young age or something permanent due to advancing age. However, any change in the condition of hair could mean changes in your body and general health. Simply put, if you have good hair growth and strong shiny hair strands, this strongly suggest that you are relatively in good health. Now if you’re having problem with your hair, like the conditions mentioned above, then mostly likely there are changes happening in your body and it could also mean that you are relatively in not good health.
Our hair is like an indicator of good or bad health. Health conditions like leukemia, hormonal changes, thyroid problems, stress and other conditions can reflect on hair growth and can sometimes be diagnosed by doing a hair test. Thus, it is important to take any changes in our hair seriously, because it could reflect any condition within.
Our hair is very vulnerable to changes in our body because hair producing cells are considered one of the fastest growing cells in our body and they literally do not stop producing hair. These cells get nutrients directly from the blood stream and their growth is easily influenced by hormonal changes, change in diet, medications and even emotional changes like stress.
So whenever, you experience some kind of hair change, it is best to reflect what changes you’ve done in your lifestyle or diet, if you cannot determine the cause, then it is advisable to visit your physician to better determine the cause.
