On the other hand, fast and abrupt hair loss is most likely temporary. These types of hair loss causes to massive a mounts of hair fall, making a person to panic. Typically, a person afflicted by this hair loss has underlying issues thattrigger the catastrophic hair loss.
Excessive dieting is an excellent example for this type of hair loss. Due to lack of nutrient intake, especially proteins, all the hair follicles are forced to enter the telogen phase, disregarding whatever phase they are in. Hence the term telogen effluvium and this can cause large amounts of hair fall in just a short period of time. Fortunately, this is just temporary, when the underlying condition is corrected, hair will eventually grow back, even without the use of any hair loss treatment products.
