Our hair, just like any part of our body, needs nutrients for it to grow. If you love to eat fatty burgers and oily chips, then you’ll end up with greasy hair. For healthy hair growth, is best to have a balanced diet. Specifically, our hair needs protein, because this is what hair is mostly made of. So it important to consume the right amounts of protein daily. Good sources of protein are: soya beans, lentils, cheese, milk, fish, lean meat for beef, pork and chicken.
Keep Your Hair and Scalp Clean
Daily washing is very important for to keep the hair and scalp clean, making the scalp ideal for hair growth. We naturally produce an oil called sebum, which acts as a natural skin and hair conditioner. Unfortunately, too much oil can make the hair greasy, making hair like a dirt and dust magnet. Also, oil can accumulate on the scalp which could be a medium for bacterial or fungal growth. So keep it clean with daily washing.
A Scalp Massage
Make it a habit to massage your scalp for a few minutes, while your shampoo. This will not only clean your hair and scalp, it can also increase blood circulation to the scalp. Improved circulation means more nutrients and oxygen reaching the scalp, enhancing hair growth.
