Hair loss is everyone’s problem, whether you are genetically predisposed to it or just having episodes of increase hair fall. But before buying those expensive hair loss treatment products, why not try something more probiotic, like Kefir.
It has long been suggested that dihydrotestosterone is the number one cause of hair loss, since what it basically does it deprive the nutrients the hair needs to grow healthy hair. Studies show that DHT slowly causes the scalp to harden. This hardening shrinks the blood vessels of the scalp and this including the blood vessels of the hair follicles. The hair follicles are one of the active growing cells in the body. For this reason, the follicles needs a lot of nutrients to continually grow healthy hair. But due to DHT, nutrients becomes limited or the hair follicles suffocate because of the blood vessel shrinkage. This causes the hair follicles to atropi and can no longer produce terminal hair.
Some hair loss experts believe that the absorption of nutrients from the gut is one contributing factor to hair loss and the use of probiotics help increase nutrient absorption, hence, increase hair growth.
Kefir is a fermented milk drink that contains a beneficial bacterium called lactobacillus bulgaricus. This bacterium effectively kills harmful bacteria in the gut. Basically, kefir keeps our digestive tract healthy, therefore, nutrients, vitamins and minerals are better absorbed.
Kefir not only help assist in hair loss, it is also beneficial to the whole body as well. This fermented milk has long been in the diet of Romanians and has been a contributing factor for the countries old but healthy populous.
