A GUIDE FOR FIRST TIME HEAD SHAVERS

The best way to be noticed is by getting your head shaved and the one with a shaved head will definitely stand out in a group whether you’re a guy or a girl. Head shaving is definitely an option for thinning hair or with a receding hair line. So why look for a hair losstreatment that takes years to work.
Below are simple instruction to get your head shaved, more specifically for first timers, to make the transition smooth.
Preping your hair is the first step. Trim as much hair as possible using an electric trimmer or hair clipper, then take a warm shower. Trimming the hair makes it easier to shave and clean the razors between shaving and the warm shower will soften the hair and open the pores.
The next step is the actual shaving. Shave in a brightly lit space or add some lights in your bathroom. It is a lot easier to use a razor specially made for head shaving like the HeadBlade. Apply some shaving cream all over and run the HeadBlade. It is crucial to never apply pressure while using the HeadBlade. Simply glide it along your scalp using long strokes and constantly wash the blades between shaves to prevent the blades from getting clogged. Once you get the feel of the HeadBlade, shaving your head will be like second nature and shaving time will be dramatically reduced. Remember, once you start head shaving you’ll be shaving everyday or every other day just like shaving your face.
Lastly, protect your freshly shaved head with a non-comedogenic or non pore clogging moisturiser like HeadLube Scalp Moisturizer. If it’s your first time, allow your scalp to heal properly and stay indoors for a few hours to prevent your scalp from being exposed to the sun. Once everything is properly healed, it is important to use a light sunscreen before going outdoors to prevent your head from getting sunburns, just like protecting your skin.
