4 Easy Tips To Stagnant Hair Growth
At one point in our lives, it is pretty common to experience hair problems. The typical problem we encounter is our hair falling out but another common problem is very slow or stagnant hair growth. Yes, sometimes our hair just stops growing or grows at a very slow rate.
Well, slow hair growth is not a problem really, at least you still have a head full of hair, far better than hair loss. But what if you had a bad hair cut or want to grow your hair long for an upcoming event. What should you do then?
Fortunately, there are things that you can do to make your hair grow faster:
Eat a healthy diet. Eating a well balanced diet is the key not only for a healthy body but also for healthy hair growth as well. Our hair is mostly made of a protein called keratin, very similar to what our fingernails are made of. The hair follicles produce about half an inch of hair a month; therefore, it needs a continuous supply for protein from our diet.
Scalp massage. Regularly massaging the scalp can stimulate hair growth. Massage the scalp for about 10-15 minutes, three times a day can improve blood circulation. And this can increase the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicles.
Vitamins and minerals. Regular intake of vitamins and minerals help metabolize food more efficiently. There are also vitamins that are excellent for hair like biotin and Vitamin B5. Minerals like zinc are also good for hair growth.
Special Shampoos and conditioners. Amazingly, there are products available on the market that specializes in hair growth. Basically, they are filled with nutrients the hair needs for healthy and super fast growth like the B complex vitamins mentioned above, Amino acids which are basically the building blocks of protein.
